How much will it cost to transport my vehicle?

The cost of transporting an automobile is determined by several factors including the distance involved, the type of vehicle (SUVs are bigger and heavier so they cost more to transport), whether or not the vehicle runs and drives, etc. Most importantly it depends on the market price for other vehicles being shipped throughout the nation. Each season is different.
Is my vehicle insured while being transported?

Yes. Each and every vehicle we transport is fully insured up to $1,000,000 cargo and liability with no deductibles to our customers.
Where will my car be picked up?

We will schedule door to door service but sometimes the driver is unable to manage the car transporter through a residential neighborhood, gated community, or narrow dirt road. In this case the driver may ask you to meet him at the nearest parking lot.
When should I schedule a pickup?

Ideally we should be informed at least one week in advance of your requested transport date in order for us to reserve space for your vehicle on the truck and coordinate the proper logistics. Most times we can work with even shorter time frames and welcome any requests.
Do I have to be present when my vehicle is picked up?

You or your designated representative must be present to sign the release form upon pickup and then to accept the vehicle upon delivery.
What is the first step?

After requesting your quote we will send you an email or fax (you can request a phone call if neither of these are an option) with the necessary forms attached. Once we receive your completed reservation form we will schedule your vehicle for transport.

I have used Dependable Towing several times to transport cars for me and my family. I couldn’t find their phone number so I was looking on here and I was shocked to see a few bad experiences. Since I have used them several times, I wanted to voice my support for all of the folks at Dependable Towing. They have always been honest and straight forward with me and my family. I think it is a shame that a few people who may have had a bad experience try to bring a company down.

The car was last minute to transport and Randy the driver called the day before he was to pick up the car and explained it would be the next day. Randy showed up at 9pm Thursday and he was Fast, understanding, and very open minded to my concerns with the car for transport. Randy ensured me it was in good hands. He also explained it would be in on Saturday and it was right as he said and called ahead of time to have someone ready to pick up the car. I have never done this before but if and when I do again Dependable will be my first choice. Remember that anyone can tell you a price and low ball you on the quote but Dependable was up front and to the point with no run around. The transport company was Dependable tow and recovery and Randy is an asset to this company for what he does day in and day out. I watched how he had to move these cars around on a 10 car transport and it is a huge job. Thanks again for your honesty and thank you Randy for your personal service with a consumers needs.

These guys showed up when they said they would, charged me what they said they would and delivered my car when they said they would. I was worried about the experience, but it turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined or hoped!!!

I have my car shipped every year from NY to WY and vice versa. Last year I used a major national company and was extremely disappointed. This year I tried Dependable Tow & Recovery and they did everything by the book and were actually early in delivery. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND I HAVE. I am a doctor and I have had a couple of colleagues use this company and they too have been extremely happy. A+ Rating for Dependable!

I had these guys move my baby from NY to FL. I was worried because I love that car and don’t like to even let it out of my sight. These guys knew that and did everything they could to ease my anxiety. They even washed the car before they delivered it to me!! To say that I was pleased is an extreme understatement. I definitely will use them again and would encourage anyone to so the same. These guys treat your car like it is their mom’s car!!!
